The four-time defending WCWS champion Oklahoma Sooners released their fall softball schedule on Wednesday, an eight-game slate starting Oct. 2.

Oh, it’s football time at OU, but softball is never too far away. That’s what Patty Gasso has created in Norman. Years and years of excellence and championships, even fall ball means something. And this year’s edition might mean a little bit more.

Oklahoma, led by legendary coach Patty Gasso, is scheduled as the Razorbacks’ conference home-opening opponent. The series will be played March 14-16 at Bogle Park. Gasso’s youngest son, DJ, is entering his second season as Arkansas’ hitting coach.

The four-time national champion Oklahoma softball team has released its schedule for fall 2024. The schedule consists of eight games; seven will be played at Love's Field in Norman. Every mid-week contest will begin at 6:30 p.

The Sooners' revealed the schedule for their annual fall battle series on Wednesday afternoon, including a few new faces this year.
